MS Sanskrit delta 2 Language : Sanskrit Scripts : Śāradā

Serial no.679. Scribal foliation 1-451, with lacunae (gaps in the text). Paper, with colophon in red ink. This colophon suggests a relationship between the author, Vāgbhaṭa, and the physician, Ravigupta, both whose work were also translated into Arabic. Copied in Kashmir. (Dominik Wujastyk 1985).

It contains Santāna-dīpikā vyākhyānaya (Skt-Sinh.), an astrological text, verses in Sanskrit with Sinhala paraphrase, Daśā phala (?) also an astrological treatise, Daśā phala kīma (kavi) which describes the effect of the planetary positions, Graha phala hā näkat phala (kavi), an incomplete text on astrology, that describes the results of undertakings at auspicious and inauspicious time, Paladāvaliya (kavi) an astrological text on auspicious times for planting and sowing etc., Lagna dīpikā, an astrological work.
