Tristhalīsetu
EAP1023/28/5 Language : Sanskrit Scripts : Devanagari
A dharmaśāstra work by Nārāyaṇa Bhaṭṭa, son of Rāmeśvara Bhaṭṭa, on the three tirtha-s (sacred sites): Prayāg, Kāṣi, and Gayā. This manuscript contains the Gayāprakaraṇa (or Gayāsetu) and refers to Gayā’s importance for piṇda dāna (offerings to departed ancestors) Sections include Gayāphalādivicāra, Gayāpraśaṃsā, Gayāśrāddhādhikāra. Nārāyaṇa Bhaṭṭa was grandfather of Kamalākara Bhaṭṭa, whose Nirṇayasindhu cites this work.
Laghusiddhāntakaumudī

An abridged version of Bhaṭṭoji Dīkṣita’s Siddhāntakaumudī, written by his student Varadarāja (1600–1650) in order to make Sanskrit grammar accessible to children. This manuscript covers the sections from saṃjñāprakaraṇa to strīpratyayaprakaraṇa. Ḍīllirāja copied the manuscript in Saṃvat 1951 (1894 CE).

The second of five stavaka-s of a ritual manual authored by Ananta Bhaṭṭa, son of Nāgadeva Bhaṭṭa, in Varanasi in 1625 CE (NCC Vol. 29), this discusses śāntikarma, like duṣṭanakṣatrādijananaśānti, kṛṣṇacaturdaśīśānti, mūlaśānti, grahaṇajananaśānti, yamalajananaśānti, brahmacārīdharma, adhyayanaprakāra, abhyāsaprayoga and pātralakṣaṇa. The third of five stavaka-s of a ritual manual authored by Ananta Bhaṭṭa, son of Nāgadeva Bhaṭṭa, in Varanasi in 1625 CE (NCC Vol. 29), this discusses āhnika, saṃskāra, kāla (Kane 1975), or the appropriate time for ceremonies. It covers rituals like guruśāntividhāna, bhāṣyaprayoga, homakārya, pratimādāna, godānavratavidhāna, jananakṣatraphala, sāmudralakṣaṇa, lalāṭalakṣaṇa, śirolakṣaṇa, vivāhakālanirṇaya, vivāhakālavidhāna and vivāhabhedāḥ. Bṛhatsaṃhitā

A complete text of the sixth-century encyclopedic work by Varāhamihira, from the introductory chapter (‘upanayanādhyāya’) to the concluding table of contents (‘śāstrānukramaṇī’). The work covers astrology, planetary movements, eclipses, clouds, crops, erotics, furniture, perfumes, gems and omens. The manuscript was copied by Rudranārāyaṇa in Śaka 1731 (1809 CE).
Dānamayūkha

A chapter from the Bhagavantabhāskara (or Smṛtibhāskara), a dharmaśāstra text by Nīlakaṇṭha Bhaṭṭa (c. 1610–1645), son of Mīmāṃsā scholar Śaṅkarabhaṭṭa, grandson of Nārāyaṇa Bhaṭṭa, and cousin of Kamalākara Bhaṭṭa. It was composed for his patron Bhagavanta Rāja in 12 chapters (mayūkhas). The colophon refers to Dānamayūkha as the sixth chapter; Kane gives it as the seventh. It deals with different types of donations and their significance in Hindu rituals. The colophon is followed by what appears to be an incomplete text.
Kriyā Yoga Sāra

This contains 25 chapters of the Kriyā Yoga Sāra, a text on Viṣṇu worship that covers the sacredness of the Ganga, tulsi and stories of bhakti. As in other manuscripts, its colophon claims the work belongs to the Padma Purāṇa (‘śrīpadmapurāṇe kriyāyogasāre vyāsajaiminisaṃvāde pañcaviṃśodhyāyaḥ’); for evidence it is actually an upapurāṇa from ninth/tenth century Bengal, see R.C. Hazra (1958: 74–78). The Purāṇic texts numbered 47–50 in EAP1023/25 appear to be in the same hand.
Māghamāhātmya

This contains the first 25 chapters of the text from the Padma Purāṇa also known as Maghamāsamāhātmya, from ‘Dilīpamṛgayāgamana’ to ‘Vasiṣṭha-Dilīpasaṃvāde Gandharvakanyāpariṇaya’. The Purāṇic texts numbered 47–50 in EAP1023/25 appear to be in the same hand.
Puraścaryārṇava
EAP1023/25/51 Language : Sanskrit Scripts : Devanagari
A tantra ritual manual (tantraśāstra vidhāna paddhati) by King Pratap Singh Shah of Nepal (r. 1751–1777), a devout tantric practitioner. This manuscript has 12 taraṅga-s and was copied by Śuklānanda in 1957 CE.

An incomplete manuscript of the first book of the Padmapurāṇa, going up to the 13th chapter. The Purāṇic texts numbered 47–50 in EAP1023/25 appear to be in the same hand.

Hanumatkavaca
EAP1023/16/20 Language : Sanskrit Scripts : Devanagari
This manuscript contains two texts. The first is Pañcamukhīhanumatkavaca, which the colophon says is from the Umā-maheśvara saṃvāda (the various sources for the stotra include the Rudrayāmalatantra and the Sudarśanasasaṃhita, this may be from the first). The second is an unidentified ritual manual for Viṣṇu pūjā.
