eap_79003023 Language : Sanskrit & Newari Scripts : Nepālākṣara


This is a Buddhist tantra text, it is may be a part of the Caryagiti, in the text there are several giti word including; Rāgabhairavī, Tālarūpa, Rāgapakṣajatitālasā, Rāgagandhārabhairavī, Rāgamadhyama, Rāgavibhāsa, Rāgavasantam, Rāgabhairavī ektāla. The manuscripts physical condition is good, for highlighting red ink has used and end of the every sentences has (ध्रु) letter in red ink. The text has not mentioned any author, title of the text and page number also.




Vividha Budhha Devatā Pūjārcanā

This is a Buddhist ritual text on lord Buddha, from f. 1-16 it describes Various form of Buddha and from rest of the folios are describes the result of the pujārcana. The text has old and fragaile so various word and letters cant be decipherable and it starts form middle part and has not end part so neither author nor the title of the text has mentioned.




Unknown fragment of Jyotiṣa

This is a Jyotiṣa text, it has written in sloka form. It describes various part of phalita Jyotiṣa including 12 Māsa, Lagna and its good time, Rāśi, Gṛhaśānti. f. 1,2 has mentioned 12 soura māsa and its seasonal thing in 2 slokas and some prose, Sunikādhyāya , f.3-8 in 21 slokas there are 14-18 no. slokas are missing, Kemadhruma yogaphalam, f.19 only has 12 no. sloka, after 2 adhyāya has no name but has sloka, f.21 has 15 slokas middle 5 slokas are missing , f.28 has 2 sloka of Kemadhruma yogaphalam, f.29-31 has Yoginī daśāphalam, it describes about Gṛhaśānti in 5 slokas. Middle parts are describes about Rāśi and lagna. There are several folios in the middle part has no chapter name or the sloka number. The has not mentioned any author name or title of the text but it is is good condition, for highlighting importent word or numbers are used red ink.

This is an unknown composite fragment. f.1 has mentioned Bhagavāna Tirtharāja and Bhagavatī Bodhidāyanī, f.2 Bhagavāna Śākyaratna other folios has not mentioned any Deities name only has text. several folios has spreaded ink so some words are not decipherable. The text has not mentioned author name and title of the text.




Lakṣacaityayākathā

This is a Buddhist ritual text Lakṣacaityayākathā, Lakṣa means Lakh and caityas means stupas, It describes creation of a hundred thousand miniature stupas. Such acts are common themes in Buddhist traditions, particularly in Mahāyāna Buddhism, where the bodhisattva path emphasizes the generation of positive karma (merit) and wisdom for the benefit of all beings. The manuscript is very damaged, some leaves are broken, for highlighting used red ink, folio 7 and 8 are missing so the manuscript is incomplete.

Siṃhaśārthavāha Kathā

This is an Avadāna or Jātaka text. It is a significant Buddhist narrative, The story generally revolves around a Bodhisattva (a future Buddha) in the form of a caravan leader named Siṃhaśārthavāha, which translates to "Lion Caravan Leader." He leads a large group of merchants on a perilous journey to search for wealth or trade goods. The manuscript is physicali good conditioned but the last two folios are half broken.




Composite Dhāraṇī Stotra Text

It has 4 Dhārinī section including; Karmarājanāma Dhārinī, Mahābhairava Dhārinī, Dvādaśasuryadevatā Stotra, Buddhabhaṭṭāraksya Dhārinī in the middle part Dvādaśasuryadevatā Stotra may be an another text , The Manuscript is heavily damaged some parts are broken, it has mentioned only the name of the Dhārinī part but not mentioned authors name, It is an Incomplete text.




Composite Stotra's

This is a composite stotra text on buddhist deity including; Lokanātha stotra (f.3), Karuṇāstava stotra (f.7), Avalokiteśvara bhaṭṭārakasya stotra(f.9), Śākyamunibudha bhaṭṭāraksya stotra(f.11). Lokanātha is the form of Avalokiteśvara in buddhism tradition also Avalokiteśvara or Bodhisattva is a universal compession who is epithet Lokanātha (Lord of world), Karuṇa, Avalokiteśvara bhaṭṭāraka e.t.c. The text describes praise of Bodhisattva or Buddhabhaṭṭāraka of the different form of Avalokiteśvara. The manuscript is Heavily damaged several part or pages are broken therefore some words or sentences are impossible to asscertain. In the text has not mentioned any author or scriber name but the same date has mentioned after every hymns.

This is an unknown Medical Fragment. It describes humans inner problems and the solving part. f.4 has describes about the whole pregnancy journey of the baby at which month a foster has developed body parts. after 10th month the womb has completly developed and child will be termed 'Jātakabāla '. F. 6 Athakvāthakalpanā, Athapānādikalpanā. f.7 Athahimalyanā may be will be the sub chapter of the text. The manuscript is heavily damaged several pages are broken and impossible to asscertain the word or sentences. The manuscript has start the main texts middle part and colophone are not in the manuscript. neither the author nor the text name has mentioned also pagination is not mentioned so the serial number has followed.

This is an unknown medical fragments. It has only 6 folios The text has only middle portion, colophone portion is not present here. f.4 has describe śleṣmā (Bulgum) cikitṣā. The text is Heavily damaged several folios has broken so words are not readable.
